Electronic Program Guide or Linear Channel Number Position

EPG (Electronic Program Guide) or LCN (Linear Channel Number) is a requirement if you wish to have your TV channel on a network like Sky, FOX, Star, etc. It is the channel number that your viewers type in to watch when on the network and often represents ownership of the slot/channel.
Sometimes there is a charge for this, depending on if it is an SD, HD or 4K channel.

EPG Required?

If an EPG is required, we will find and negotiate an EPG purchase for you; we have successfully transacted over 60 EPG trades in the last ten years. These can be sold again if, at some point in the future, you decide to cease the channel. From an accounting point of view, you can hold the EPG as an asset on your books, which can be amortized over a period of years.
